Cannabis, Cannabinoids & Roadside Drug testing.

There are over 100 cannabinoids in the hemp/cannabis plant - the roadside drug testing are testing for one specific cannabinoid - THC.
I have many clients asking me about this - and how our products fit into this testing.

With regards to our Full Spectrum Cannabinoid Oil - all of our oils are at 0.03% THC, and will therefore never result in a positive THC test of any kind - even if you were to drink the whole bottle (which I don't recommend 😬😆)

But with regards to medicinal cannabis and THC products that people are using legally... will these show in Roadside Drug Testing?

What it comes down to is the metabolic health of the person consuming the product, and the format in which the cannabinoids are ingested:

✅️ Cannabis Oil & Cannabinoid Oil taken Sublinguially are metabolised by the bloodstream - bypassing the digestive system.
✅️ THC Edibles (Gummies, Brownies etc) are metabolised by the digestive system.
✅️ Smoking Cannabis will be metabolised by the liver via the respiratory system & bloodstream.

So, you can see why someone with impaired liver function, someone with gut inflammation, and someone who has unbalanced hormones (hormones are transported via the bloodstream) may have a harder time metabolising cannabinoids than someone who is in great metabolic health. 🤔🤔

This also counts for older people - many of whom are using cannabinoids for pain relief and to treat various chronic illnesses - their bodies will simply not metabolise the cannabinoids as efficiently as someone who is younger.

When people ask me if using cannabis at night will result in a positive Roadside drug test the next day, or a few days later - the answer is that it is impossible to know because so many factors are at play. 🫠

For someone with a healthy metabolism - the THC may be metabolised by their body, and not show in a test after 12 hours. For someone with a compromised metabolism - this may show a positive result for up to 72 hours (or longer) long after the impairment has left their body.
