Dear sisters,

The Red Tent has been in hibernation through the mid winter, and I'm very happy to tell you that we will be cranking the fire up at Riverside and opening the tent for you on Sunday 2nd August ❤️‍🔥

I've been in a very reflective and inward state during the last few weeks - I wonder if that is a shared experience amongst our community? I have been choosing to withdraw rather than leaning in, which is a coping mechanism of mine when life gets challenging. I have a story that reaching out and making a connection happen is exhausting, but in reality, when I get out of my head and start relating in the physical realm, my heart opens up, my nervous system relaxes and I feel deeply nourished by those I am connecting with. The Red Tent is one of those environments I have experienced true acceptance for self and others. Being in a space with women who can turn up and be in whatever state they are in or moving through at that time. I really need this space in my life right now, and I'm hoping that it might be a supportive space for many of you too.

I would like to invite you all to a special collaboration with a beautiful soul, Mani Kidston. Mani and I met a couple of years ago in a workshop space where we journeyed deep and far together. When I am with her I feel joy, connection, play, authenticity, raw openness and whole lot more. It is with a big smile on my face that I have the opportunity to share the Red Tent space with her.

Mani Is a poet who writes with love and magic and presence as companions in exploring this strange and miraculous existence.
She guides people to be in intimacy with life - with the complex simplicity of Gaia, of the universe, of themselves - and to write from this place. She finds both heart and home when she writes poetry, and through this, the space for others to experience heart and home also is created.

Mani will offer a poetry workshop offering doorways to be in rich intimacy with life! With yourself, with Gaia, with the universe, and discovering what magic wants to come from this place!

Dear sisters of the Red Tent,

I'm reaching out to you from the trenches of my pre-menstrual being! I don't have much creativity to write in this sluggish state but I do have some extremely exciting news to share with you all...

Our local treasure, Annemieke Harmonie, will be guiding us through a LIVE HARP meditation circle on Sunday June 7th 2026.

Annemieke is a very special woman that I have met on the journey through maidenhood to motherhood. She is loving, strong and has a deeply healing presence - I feel very honoured that she has agreed to collaborate and share her gifts in the Red Tent.

Here are some words about Annemieke...

Annemieke Harmonie has been playing the harp since she was a child. In her twenties, after graduating as a primary school teacher, she left the Netherlands with her harp and a backpack. Many adventures followed, as she went through intense personal growth and expansion, experiencing music and customs in many different cultures. Her harp became her emotional outlet, her constant travel companion and ticket to celebrations and festivals. From busking to performing at weddings and functions, to playing at Palacio's in Portugal, the harp became a lifestyle and her gift to the world. Annemieke works with the healing and balancing power of frequency. She uses her voice to tone the angelic frequencies in harmony with her harp. She tunes her harp to 432 herz to facilitate deep calm, alignment with nature and transformation. She has a love of passing on her knowledge, and runs Harmonie Harp School in Tasman/ Nelson with online students further afield.

Hi sweet sisters,

I hope you are all well and having moments to bathe in the golden light of autumn...

Without realising - I booked our next Red Tent on Mothers Day 🌹
I would love to invite the theme of motherhood into this tent and I'll be thinking of how to get creative with it too.

Maybe you would like to bring your Mum along to the tent? Or maybe your daughter? Or maybe someone who you hold really close to your heart that nurtures you with mother energy...
