Today’s session absolutely stunner 💪🔥

One of those workouts where you walk away feeling STRONG.

Main stand outs from today:
• Biceps + skull crushers — light 7kg for 2 sets of 45 reps of each 🥵
• Deep squats — 30kg for 20 reps x2
• Chest press — 17.5kg dumbbells for 10 reps x2
• Shoulder press — 15kg dumbbells for 10 reps x2

And honestly… there was still plenty more after that 😮‍💨

Sometimes you don’t realize how far you’ve come until you stop and look at what your body is capable of now compared to months ago.

Strength isn’t built in one “perfect” workout. It’s built in the sessions where you keep showing up, keep pushing, and keep backing yourself 💯

The girls absolutely smashed it today and so did I 👏🖤

Early morning food prep for the weekend lunches… chicken, get in my belly 🍗🔥

Food prep isn’t about being “perfect.”
It’s about making your future self’s life easier. 🙌

Because when life gets busy, stress hits, kids need something, work runs late, or motivation disappears…
having healthy meals ready can be the difference between:
➡️ grabbing convenience food
or
➡️ staying on track with your goals.
A few hours of prep = less overwhelm, less guesswork, and more consistency 👏

You don’t need fancy meals.
You just need protein, carbs, colour, and enough food to fuel your body properly 💪

Reminder:
Results are built in the small habits you repeat — not the random “perfect” week.

Working behind a computer all day? 👀💻
Your eyes are probably working overtime too.

Blue light glasses have become one of my favourite little “workday wellness” tools — especially for long hours behind a screen.

✨ Potential benefits of blue light glasses:
• Reduce eye strain & fatigue
• Help with headaches caused by screen time
• Decrease dry, tired eyes
• May improve sleep by reducing blue light exposure at night
• Make long admin/work sessions feel more comfortable

Do they magically fix everything? No 😅
But combined with regular movement, good posture, screen breaks, hydration & sleep… they can definitely help support your overall wellbeing.

As someone who spends hours behind a computer working full-time as an office manager, coaching, programming, messaging clients and doing admin behind a laptop — my eyes were feeling it 👵😂

Small habits add up.

We glorify hustle so much that people forget your body actually needs time to recover, repair, and recharge.

Muscle is built during recovery — not just during the workout.

So no… resting isn’t being “lazy.”

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down for a minute.

The hardest part of a fitness journey isn’t always the workouts…

It’s learning how to exist in a changing body.

Your old clothes fit differently.
Your comfort zone changes.
Your confidence changes.

I would NEVER usually wear a fitted top like this… but I’m trying to stop dressing for the body I used to have — or the one I’m still trying to get.

Tonight’s session was all about showing up, moving our bodies, and feeling STRONG 💪✨

These amazing wahine put in the work with a full-body high-rep repeater—and I couldn’t be prouder 🥹

We worked through:
• Bicep curls & tricep dips
• Bulgarian lunges & hamstring curls
• Arnold press & single-arm rows
• Fire hydrants (with wall + foam roller 🔥) & single-leg quad extensions
• B-stance weighted lunges & squats with pulses
• Kettlebell hip thrusts & squat to shoulder press
• Lateral raises & front raises
• Crunches & double leg lifts

It wasn’t about being perfect…

It was about showing up, pushing through, and supporting each other every step of the way 💚

Strong bodies. Strong Minds. Strong Women.

Last night’s charcoal BBQ family dinner = today’s delicious lunch 😋🔥

When you’re a solo parent balancing rent and a mortgage while waiting for your house to sell, you learn how to stretch your dollars without missing out on the good stuff ❤️

Last night I treated my family (and had my parents over) to steak and veggies on the BBQ — simple, wholesome, and so worth it.

💰 $50 steak
🥦 $10 veggies
🔥 $5 charcoal

That fed 6 dinners and 3 lunches…
