Our new 2026-2027 Maramataka wall planner has now been uploaded to the Ngā Pātaka website! 🙌
Inspired by previous Maramataka and imbued with the same aroha and rich kōrero tuku iho. The background transports our whakaaro back to our ancestral homeland paradise of Hawaiki 🏝️. It serves as a reminder of where we come from, how our tūpuna utilised Te Whānau Mārama and ngā tohu o te taiao to navigate from Hawaiki to Aotearoa, the feats they achieved in their time, and that we too can achieve great things today and into the future 💯.
Kia pono hoki mātau, with the makariri ❄️ really settling in now, a warm reminder of Hawaiki hanging on the wall may encourage us to use our maramataka more often! It also reminds us that no matter how cold it gets, Raumati ☀️ is always only six or so kaupeka (stellar-lunar months) away. That may be just the motivation needed to start saving for a well-deserved trip to another motu o Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa 🏖️🌴, or to finally plan that long-overdue visit to one of our stunning beaches here in Aotearoa when Raumati returns 😎
