Just an update on whats happening in my clinic

As some clients already know ( as they have been the recipient's of my learning)
Over the past 12 months i have been learning a new modality, I've kept it on the quite as I wanted to practice and feel comfortable doing it before offering it to the wider community.
It is these clients that have prompted me to write this post, so others can receive the benefits of it. Im grateful for the support and encouragement from these people ๐Ÿ˜Š
I have received this work myself and found it beneficial to my physical and mental health.
It feels like the complimentary opposite to ConTact C.A.R.E
Thankyou to Nadiene Kyle of Nadiene Kyle ConTact CARE + Reiki for working on and for teaching me all about Reiki.
The learning/ understanding will continue as with everything we do.

I will be offering Reiki alongside my ConTact C.A.R.E work but in separate sessions.

You can now book either of the following
1hr session of ConTact C.A.R.E
1hr session of Reiki
Or
1.5hr session of 45min ConTact C.A.R.E & 45min Reiki

Looking forward to sharing both these modalitys with you all.

Hope all have had a very merry Christmas and happy New Year.
Over the last 12 months or so I have had quite a few clients asking me When Are You Going To Ride a Horse ๐ŸŽ. We'll today was the day.
We had booked in with a client of mine, was a bonus as I knew the temperament of the horses. Finally we had some awsome weather, beautiful fine sunny day, we all enjoyed the ride, it was so peaceful and relaxed and cool scenery, approx 1.5hrs through some pine forest a bitt of native and loads of river crossings. The Horses were very well behaved, another bonus ๐Ÿ˜€.
I would like to thank John, Sammii of Korohe Horse Treks and there very friendly and helpful crew.
The horses were in excellent condition and are very well looked after by the team.
Good time was had and some lifetime memories.
Highly recommend Korohe Horse Treks.

So recently I tried something way out of my comfort zone, feeling a little nervous going in to it would be a understatement.
I've seen the experts do it and been amazed at how a horse (wild horse) can be trained with a bit of pressure and release. Yes I know it's not that simple ( by a long shot) and there is a hundred different little signs to look out for, to understand what the horse is doing or thinking and even feeling. I was lucky enough to be given the chance to be guided through the initial training by someone who has probably trained a 100 or more Wild Kaimanawa's and has built up a huge bank of knowledge in doing so.
Kelly Wilson thankyou so much for the opportunity and your knowledge and guidance.

My idea was that it would give me the opportunity to understand the horse at a deeper level, see even more when I look at them (not just the physical).
Boy did i get that and so much more, I'm not afraid to say, but at times it can become quite an emotional journey aswell, which i wasn't expecting.
The young man i worked with was out of the July muster named Bram, he had such a calm nature and gentle soul, which definitely made my life easier, although he did tell me off once or twice.
I will always be greatful to Bram for alowing me to go on this journey with him.
Having the opportunity to watch other trainers aswell was a bonus.
I asked another trainer one afternoon, what do you think they hear when we work with them.
She said if done wrong, it would be like me screaming at you in a different language.
This is why we have to be consistent and clear in what we ask, braking all the milestones in their training into smaller questions to make it easier for them to understand and way less stressful for them.
The trust they have in us ( once we earn it ) should not be taken lightly.

Very Humbling experience.

Incase you don't know already I decided to help the incredible people at the Kaimanawa Legacy Foundation by supporting the 100 Kaimanawa Horses, 100 Days, 100 Lives Saved project.

If you are able to donate to the Kaimanawa Legacy Foundation, even if it's a couple of dollars, it all helps to continue their quest to save and support the Kaimanawa Horses.
These are extremely dedicated people who are quite often dipping into there own pockets and spending 100s /1000s of hours of there own time, to protect, train and re-home these iconic horses.

Please if you can, Share this post to help the cause .

Cheers and thankyou to those that have supported the Kaimanawa's
