Sometimes joy catches us by surprise.
A swing, a laugh, a beautiful view, a moment that makes you feel 7 again.

We can get so caught up in what needs doing that we forget how good it feels to simply have fun.

This week, notice the moments that make you smile.
What brought you joy today?

A new season can be a good time to check in with yourself.

Sometimes one small action is enough to create a little momentum.

Make the appointment.
Send the message.
Go outside.
Do the thing you’ve been putting off.

Small actions can shift how we feel and help us move forward.

What is one small thing you could do for yourself this week?

Because You Matter.

Spring doesn’t have to mean “get busy”.

Sometimes a new season is simply a natural chance to pause and check in with yourself.

Where am I now?
What matters to me now?
What needs a little more care?
And what do I want to carry forward?

For some people, renewal might mean getting outside more, reconnecting with others, rebuilding confidence, asking for help, making that medical appointment, or simply choosing what matters most right now.

So this September, I’m going to be talking about checking in, noticing what matters, and making choices that fit where you are now.

My question for you is:

What would you like this next season to feel like?

Adapting doesn't end after the diagnosis.
It continues in the small moments that follow.

This is another snippet from Pivoting Courageously, where I share some of my own journey of learning to live with life's unexpected changes.

If my story helps even one person feel a little less alone, then sharing it is worth it.

You don't have to figure everything out on your own.

Sometimes having someone to listen, ask the right questions, and help you find your next step can make all the difference.

Grabbing moments to share and be out in nature... priceless. Thank you Kim from Raising Greatness NZ! Yes coffees from Pearl Kitchen went down a treat. I loved our coversation on the priviledge it is to walk along side others on their health journey.

Here's cheers to coaching and stopping to have a swing on the swing set some fabulous people have built right on the beach. So much fun that I felt 7 again for a few minutes!

Beach walks like this are where some of my best coaching ideas begin — fresh air, good coffee from Pearl Kitchen, and honest conversations with On the Pulse Health about how we can support people to live, feel, and show up better.

This morning’s brainstorm was all about creating tools and experiences that help people reconnect with their strengths, build emotional resilience, and feel more grounded in who they are. Coaching isn’t just my work — it’s my way of walking through the world.

Grateful for good humans, good coffee, and the kind of conversations that spark new possibilities.

The seasons change.
The tides come and go.
The dunes shift with the wind.
Nature reminds us that change is part of life.

We can't always choose what changes, but we can choose how we respond. That's where adapting begins. Adapting isn't about becoming someone else—it's about discovering new strength in who you are today.

Remember that even small steps matter.

One of the hardest parts of life changing...
..is discovering that some relationships change too.

Some people don't know what to say.

Some quietly drift away.

Others surprise you by showing up when you least expect it.

It can be painful.

But it can also remind us how important connection really is.

You don't need hundreds of people around you.

Sometimes it’s someone to simply listen...

Take time to have ongoing conversations as you work through your next steps...

A safe place for you...

These can make all the difference in a healing journey.

Sometimes that’s a trusted friend.

Sometimes it’s family.

Sometimes it’s having someone whose role is simply to listen and walk alongside you.

You don't have to navigate it on your own.

I’m here to support your journey.
