We've now wrapped up all of our roadshow hui within the rohe, hearing directly from whānau about what matters most to them.

Thank you to everyone who attended, shared whakaaro, asked questions and helped shape the discussion.

Next, we're heading out to connect with those living outside our rohe to hear their perspectives and ensure their voices are part of the journey too, starting with Kirikiriroa tonight!

Nau mai ngā kōrero, nau mai ngā whakaaro ✨

📣PUBLIC RELEASE - Early remedial works underway at Carroll St Development

Preparations are underway to develop a section of Carroll Street, Te Kūiti for development.

Early remedial works at the property, which Te Nehenehenui is in the process of acquiring the final portion of the site, includes the removal of assets formally owned by Kiwirail as part of the sale and purchase agreement.

Te Nehenehenui has been in consultation with Ngāti Rōrā over the past year to develop the 3000 sqm area at the northern end of the site as part of a broader project at the Carroll St property.

People can expect to see activity at the site over the next 3-4 months while Kiwirail carries out the removal of its assets and Te Nehenehenui prepares the land for Ahuahu Group to develop for commercial use.
