Planetary Health Virtual Conference April 2026 🌏
Over the past three years I have been invited to participate on an international global nursing platform. I represent the International Integrative Nurse Academy as an indigenous Māori New Zealand Registered Nurse.

Each year there has been a different theme, Planetary Health the focus for 2026.
I invited my friends and nursing colleagues and Raeleen de Joux to join me in April. Our intention was to share our Te Ao Māori perspectives on what was important for us in terms of planetary health.
We spoke to the importance of ancestors, who we are and why belonging and where we come from is an essential element of being Māori. A worldview where everything is interconnected, interrelated and interdependent.
I am always grateful for the opportunity to share conversations of meaning that help shape the way we see the world around us.
Ngā mihi nui@kellytikao ☀️
