Hey Everyone 👋

Calling all runners🏃‍♀️‍➡️ (slow, medium, or fast) to see if there would be any interest in a sunset run once a week?? Give this post a thumbs up if it’s something you’d be keen to get amongst 👍

I’m thinking a 7pm-ish start once the kids are down, somewhere in the bay, and covering a 5km-ish distance. We’d figure out a pace that works for everyone.

Kia ora koutou 👋

Join us for some mums and bubs workouts in the bay on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 11am starting 12 November.

Check in here on the morning of to see where we will be meeting (think T-bay beach, Whitireia park, Kura street park etc.). Unless the wind is relentless, rain will be the only reason we cancel. On windy days, we'll meet somewhere more protected.

A full PSA that I'm not a qualified PT 😂 . I just love keeping active, and through prioritising exercise and movement in my day to day, I've picked up a few things here and there! If anyone else is in the same boat and would like to run one - yell out.

What to expect?

Think group training/ HIIT style workouts for 20-30 minutes. We'll incorporate a range of cardio and bodyweight movements.

Pelvic floor not quite up to jumping yet? We'll have modifications for exercises, though remember I'm not qualified, so you'll be your own guide as to how far you can and should push yourself.

I'll bring along some picnic blankets and a few toys for any babes to play on. If your babe isn't quite moving around, you may want to bring your own blanket to station them next to you.

I'm 8 months PP and I've been lucky to form friendships with some amazing ladies in the wider Porirua area. Naturally a hermit, becoming a mum has taught me how important it is to have a community around you - this is as much about moving your body as it is about the enjoyment of being around other mums and babes! So, if working out isn't your thing but you need to get out the house - park up alongside us and read your book while your babe plays!

Look forward to seeing anyone who can make it and meeting some new mums ☺️

🌿 Kia ora e hoa ma! 🌿

We're two mums currently on maternity leave who have a huge passion for wellness and fitness. We know how important it is to take care of ourselves and feel part of a community, whether it's through workouts, workshops, or simply hanging out in nature and supporting each other on our wellness journeys. That's why we've created this page to share local fitness and wellbeing events happening around Titahi Bay, with a fun and supportive community! ✨

Whether you're into yoga, running, walking, Hiit, Bodyweight, or Box Fit workouts (with or without babies), or just looking for some wellness inspiration, this is the place to connect with like-minded locals. Also, this group isn’t exclusively for mums - anyone is welcome!

Kia ora!

I'm excited to share a new Vinyasa Yoga class in beautiful Titahi Bay.

This class is open to all levels, whether you’re a seasoned yogi or a complete beginner. In Vinyasa Yoga, we focus on linking breath with movement, flowing through fun and fluid sequences of poses that build strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. It’s a dynamic practice that allows you to find your rhythm while building a strong connection between mind and body.

I'm a local Tbay resident, and after taking some time off on maternity leave, from teaching yoga and being a full-time school teacher, I'm so looking forward to getting back on the mat and sharing the practice with you all.

Whether you’re looking to improve your physical fitness, reduce stress, or simply take some time for yourself, this class is a wonderful opportunity to connect with others in the community and tautoko each other in our practice.

This is a koha class, so no matter your financial situation, you’re welcome to join! A suggestion is $5-10, but please pay what feels right for you.

Bring your mat, a bottle of water, and an open heart. I look forward to flowing with you soon!

Feel free to message this group with any questions or just show up ready to breathe, flow, and thrive.

Namaste 🙏
