So many people see vulnerability as a risk (I used to), but the truth is, it’s the key to deeper connections, stronger leadership, and real growth.

Being vulnerable isn’t about oversharing, it’s about being honest, showing up as your real self, and having the courage to say, “I don’t have all the answers” or “I need support.”

In leadership, relationships, and personal growth, vulnerability creates trust. It builds resilience. And it allows us to move forward instead of staying stuck in perfectionism or fear.

What’s one way you’ve embraced vulnerability in your life?

At the start of the week, I take a moment to reflect and plan for the week ahead. A reset helps me feel in control, reduce stress, and sets myself up for a productive and fulfilling week.

Here’s how I like to reset for success:

Reflect on the Past Week – What went well? What could have gone better?

Define 2-3 key priorities for the week. What will move the needle for you? Focus on what matters most.

Prepare Mentally & Physically – Plan your week’s schedule, and make time for self-care, hobbies or exercise. A clear mind and energised body are essential for staying on top of everything. Things like golf, running and exercise classes locked in have been the perfect reset for me during busy or challenging days.

Align with Your Values & Purpose – Make sure your actions this week align with your bigger goals and values.

Get Ready for Action – Review your to-do list and calendar, so you are ready for a productive start to the week.

A little time spent at the start of the week can set the tone for a week of success, focus, and progress.

How do you reset for the week ahead?

Waiting for someone else to give you opportunities or validate your growth is a slow game.

Take charge of your own development - read, learn, ask for mentorship, take that course, or even start a new habit.

Many people shy away from feedback, seeing it as criticism rather than an opportunity to grow.

The truth is, feedback, when given well, can unlock our blind spots and help us develop faster. Whether you’re receiving or giving feedback, approach it with curiosity.

What’s one piece of feedback that changed the way you work or lead?

Your strengths aren’t just what you’re good at, they’re what energise you.

One of the biggest game-changers in personal and professional growth is understanding your strengths. When you lean into what you naturally do best, work feels more fulfilling, and success comes more easily.

But here’s the key, your strengths aren’t just skills. They’re the ways you think, act, and make decisions that set you apart.

CliftonStrengths is one of the best tools I have used for uncovering your unique strengths.

Instead of focusing on fixing weaknesses, it helps you double down on what makes you great.

My top strength is Learner, and it shows up in the workplace as always seeking new insights, strategies, and knowledge to refine my coaching and HR expertise, ensuring I bring fresh, valuable perspectives to my work and conversations.

What strengths do you see in yourself? If you’ve done CliftonStrengths, drop your top five below!

5 signs you need stronger boundaries…

Do any of these resonate with you?

Boundaries are something I am constantly keep front of mind and prioritise.

Last week I had to use courage to express one at work. When shared in a clear but kind way you are honouring what you need in that moment.

3 Fixed to Growth Mindset Shifts….

Mindset Shift #1: Growth Over Perfection

Old Mindset: “I need to be perfect before I start.”
New Mindset: “Progress beats perfection. I grow by taking action.”

Try This: Take one small step today, even if it’s messy.

Mindset Shift #2: Challenges = Growth

Old Mindset: “Failure means I’m not good enough.”
New Mindset: “Every setback is a setup for learning.”

Try This: Reframe challenges as stepping stones.

Mindset Shift #3: Self-Belief is Everything

Old Mindset: “I’ll be confident when I achieve X.”
New Mindset: “Confidence comes from trusting myself now.”

Try This: Write down 3 things you’re proud of today.

I’ve had a bit of a wake-up call lately.

Not the dramatic kind… the quiet kind.

The one where you realise you’ve slowly drifted away from the very things you know matter most.

My boundaries haven’t been as strong.

Work has started to stretch into spaces I usually protect.
And my values, and my health, haven’t been prioritised in the way I expect of myself.

And here’s the truth… it didn’t happen overnight.

It happened in small moments:
Saying yes when I meant maybe.
Pushing through when I needed to pause.
Choosing convenience over intention.

This is your reminder (and mine):
Alignment isn’t something you set once and forget.
It requires conscious effort. Regular check-ins. Honest reflection.

Because if you don’t stay connected to your values…
You don’t crash off track, you quietly drift.

And that’s exactly what I’ve done.

So right now, I’m resetting.

Coming back to:
Clear boundaries
Protecting my energy
Prioritising my health like it actually matters

If you’ve been feeling a little “off” lately…

This might be your sign to pause and check in too.

Where have you drifted?
And what do you need to come back to?

One of my favourite things to coach on is career 🤓

Because your career isn’t just about what you do…
it’s about how you live.

It’s the energy you bring into your day.

It’s the environment you choose (or tolerate).

It’s the growth you allow yourself to step into.

And here’s what I see time and time again in coaching:

People don’t lack capability, they lack clarity
They don’t lack opportunity, they lack belief
They don’t lack options, they haven’t given themselves permission

Career coaching isn’t about having all the answers.

It’s about asking better questions.
– What do I actually want?
– What am I no longer willing to tolerate?
– Where am I playing small?
– What would I do if I trusted myself fully?

When you start to explore your career through this lens, everything shifts.

If you’re feeling stuck, unsure, or ready for more…
maybe it’s time to get curious about what your next chapter could look like.

What’s one thing you want more of in your career right now?
