Save this for next time you have a stressful day! I find tapping helps me feel more grounded in my body and provides clarity in my thinking. I’d love to know if you’ve tried tapping yet? ☺️

We all want to eat healthy, but let’s face it.. times are tough! Fortunately not all fruits and vegetables are created equal when it comes to pesticide residues, which can help us save money when we don’t need to buy 100% of groceries organic.

Generally foods shielded with thick skins or shells carry less pesticides and are okay to buy conventional (clean 15). However, produce with a thin or edible layer of skin that grows close to the ground holds more pesticides and are better to buy organic (dirty dozen).

The Environmental Working Group updates this list every year so be sure to check it out. Or https://www.safefood.org.nz/nz-dirty-dozen for Aotearoa, New Zealand specific findings.

Save this for next time you go to the grocery store 💚

So incredibly grateful to have completed my 100 HR Trauma-Informed Yin Yoga certification with 💙 I was drawn to teach yin after learning/ experiencing the benefits it has on both our mind & body. It’s helped me recover from burnout & increased my nervous system’s capacity for life’s stressors. It’s even been used as a promising treatment for PTSD!

Yin combines Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophies with yogic asanas/ postures originating from India to help exercise and nourish our fascia, connective tissues & joints. I’m so excited to share yin with others as it’s a time we can use to slow down, connect with ourselves deeply, and provide balance to the very much ‘yang’ dominant societies we find ourselves in. 🌷

Thank you Awhi Yoga for this training. I love the te ao Māori/ Indigenous based approach they take, as it’s so essential for those of us teaching here in Aotearoa New Zealand. I’m so ready and excited for this next chapter!! 🥰🩷
