Hi everyone! 😊
It’s been a while!We are finally settled into our new home on my family land! 🎉Roy is doing amazing. We only moved 20 minutes away, so he is still at Bloomfield Schoo based at Manaia veiw. It’s been a big year of change for him, but he’s thriving.
He’s been spending time with family, visiting the marae, and he even cheered on our local rugby league team to a premier championship win! 🏆

I also wanted to say a huge thank you. I was overwhelmed by the beautiful private messages checking in on Roy. It means the world to us to know how much he is loved and cared for. ❤️

Well whanau, we are moving 👌

We are moving back to the land where my Mum is from and where I grew up.

To step onto the very same ground we played on as children feels incredibly fitting, specially as we celebrate Matariki 🌟 ⭐️ 🌠 💫

For us, Matariki is a symbol of new beginnings, and what a beautiful new year we are having.

Come along on our journey as we start this chapter! Our plan is to live in a cabin right next to Roy's aunty while we save to build a tiny home on our family land. We are so excited for what lies ahead. We know there will be challenges along the way, but we are absolutely determined to make this happen.

Roy has been a busy fulla, but he always takes the time to get the extra support he needs. He completed his 6-monthly infusion today. What used to take all day, or even overnight, wrapped up by 12:00 PM. He truly is the bravest guy I know. xx

So much has happened lately, and our hearts are so full.

✨🌟 Mānawatia a Matariki 🌟✨

For Māori, Matariki is the rising of a cluster of stars that marks the beginning of the Māori New Year. It is a time to remember those who have passed, celebrate the present, and look forward with hope to the future.

Last Saturday, we gathered with a group of whānau and friends to celebrate Roy-Reigns 18 Reasons . We would have loved to invite everyone, but we intentionally kept it small so that our son could enjoy the day without feeling overwhelmed. Watching him laugh, connect with his friends, and celebrate was truly magical.

We have also made the decision that Roy-Reigns will be moving back to his whenua in Takahiwai. This has come after a lot of planning and many heartfelt conversations. As parents, we have had to think beyond today and ask ourselves what life will look like for him when we are no longer here. There is no better place for him than being surrounded by his whānau, his whakapapa, and a community that will always know and love him. That gives us so much peace.
We move in July !!

Roy is also incredibly proud of his dad, who has officially become a New Zealand citizen. This wasn't a decision he took lightly. He is, and always will be, a proud Tongan, but he wanted to share citizenship with the same country his son calls home. It is another beautiful chapter in our family's journey.

As we reflect during Matariki, we are reminded of how richly blessed we are. Our hearts are filled with gratitude, for our faith, our whānau, our friendships, our whakapapa, and every step that has brought us here.

Mānawatia a Matariki. May this new year bring hope, healing, and many blessings to you all. ✨❤️

Hi whānau,

Life is still moving fast. We are celebrating with whānau on the weekend, but we couldn't overlook this special day that God designed.

A day I had prayed so hard for. Something I had always wanted in life—to be a mama. For a long time, I thought I wanted to do it solo, but looking back now, I could never have done it on my own.

Today we celebrate our beautiful son, Roy-Reigns Kaumavae.

From the moment he entered this world, he has brought so much joy, love, and purpose into our lives. Roy-Reigns has taught us patience, unconditional love, resilience, and the true meaning of whānau. He continues to grow into a strong, kind, intelligent, and confident young boy who brings happiness wherever he goes.

We are so proud of everything he has achieved so far—every milestone, every challenge overcome, every lesson learned, and every smile shared. Watching him grow and discover the world has been one of life's greatest blessings.

Roy-Reigns, you are deeply loved, treasured, and prayed for. May God continue to guide your steps, strengthen your character, and bless the plans He has for your life.

Happy Birthday, our precious boy. We love you more than words can say.
