The National Capital District Provincial Health Authority (NCDPHA) proudly acknowledges the generous donation of essential medical supplies to Metoreia Urban Health Centre by the Member for Moresby North West District, Hon. Lohia Boe Samuel.

This contribution, comprising three months’ worth of vital drugs, was warmly received by staff and patients, ensuring continued access to quality healthcare services for the community.

Metoreia Health Centre has successfully conducted Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) training for its support staff, reinforcing its commitment to patient safety and quality healthcare delivery.

The training focused on equipping staff with practical skills to prevent the spread of infections within the health facility. Topics included proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), waste management, cleaning and disinfection procedures, and safe patient-care practices.

Metoreia Health Centre Manager HEO Regina Wuri emphasized the importance of IPC in safeguarding both patients and healthcare workers.
