Some s**t about parenting:
There will come a time when your kids would no longer need your help. Would no longer need you to get involved in their affairs. Would no longer ask your permission to do things.
It’s OK.
Kids become adults, too.
No need to become sooo emotional, upset, sad, or feel lonely.
Their family, friend and acquaintance circles grows (just like yours did).
Their involvement in some community, private, and/or public organizations just became bigger (like yours did, too).
They slowly gained more responsibilities (just like you).
And because of these, they either lost track of time, or really have no more time at all for consulting you. (Same as you).
So, if things went going that way, just be there. Don’t stop showing up.
Even when you are not needed, when your opinion doesn’t matter, when things start to get heavier, harder, and more exhausting.
Your guidance, wisdom, and love would be eventually needed, once again
And they would long for your loving arms to hold them, hug them, and tell them “it’s gonna be fine.”(just like you did).
