One of the lesser-known yet life-threatening health conditions affecting thousands of individuals worldwide is hemophilia. In the Philippines, many people live with this bleeding disorder, often facing challenges in diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care.
Hemophilia is a genetic disorder that affects the bloodโs ability to clot, leading to prolonged bleeding even from minor injuries. It is commonly inherited and mostly affects males. With early diagnosis and proper management, individuals can significantly improve their quality of life.
