MMSU- FIC Reinforces Food Sanitation and Safety through a Training
A successful Refresher Training on Food Sanitation and Safety was conducted on March 04, 2026 at Food Innovation Center. The session featured three Food technologist who shared their expertise and insights on important topics in food sanitation and safety.
The training focused on Food Sanitation and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and a Workshop on Proper Documentation, highlighting the identification of potential hazards, proper hygiene, safe handling, cooking, and storage practices, as well as quality assurance standards and sanitation protocols. Participants also learned the importance of accurate labeling and record-keeping to ensure traceability, accountability, and the consistent production of safe, high-quality food products.
The refresher training was highly valuable, as it reinforced the importance of keeping strict food sanitation and safety practices in every step of food production. With the knowledge and insights shared by the speakers, participants strengthened their understanding of proper hygiene, quality assurance, and compliance with regulations. This initiative by the Food Innovation Center further reflects its commitment to producing safe, high-quality food and promoting excellence in food processing and handling.
