The Municipality of Bayabas proudly participated in the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) National Mayors’ Forum held on June 9–10 at the New Frontier Theater.

The event recognized local government units across the country for outstanding leadership in health equity, innovation, and nutrition governance.

📢 Enhancement of Barangay Nutrition Action Plan (BNAP)

The Enhancement of the Barangay Nutrition Action Plan (BNAP) was successfully conducted on March 10–11, 2026, bringing together Barangay officials, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, and key stakeholders committed to improving nutrition in the community.

The two-day activity focused on reviewing and strengthening existing nutrition plans, identifying priority nutrition concerns, and aligning strategies to effectively address malnutrition at the barangay level. Through collaborative discussions and planning workshops, participants enhanced their capacity to develop responsive and sustainable nutrition interventions for their respective barangays.

This activity reinforces the commitment of the Local Government Unit and barangay leaders to promote better health and nutrition for all, especially for children and vulnerable groups in the community.

Together, we continue to work towards a healthier and well-nourished barangay. 💚🥗

The Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) Refresher Course was successfully conducted on February 25–27, 2026, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of our dedicated Barangay Nutrition Scholars in the implementation of nutrition programs and services at the barangay level.

The three-day activity provided updates on key nutrition interventions, strengthened the capacity of BNS in monitoring and reporting, and reinforced their vital role in promoting proper nutrition and improving the health status of the community.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants and facilitators for their active participation and commitment in supporting the nutrition initiatives of the Local Government Unit.

📊 Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI)

The Monitoring and Evaluation for the Local Level Plan Implementation for the Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) was successfully conducted from February 20 to March 3, 2026 covering 7 barangays.

This activity aims to assess the progress of nutrition programs, identify challenges, and strengthen the implementation of nutrition-related services in the community. Through this initiative, we continue to ensure that our programs effectively support and improve the nutritional status of our barangays.
