As we conclude Week 2 of our Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization Activity (MRSIA), we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our barangays, hardworking Barangay Officials, BHWs, parents, and members of the community who continue to take part in this significant undertaking to protect our children and our community. ๐ก๏ธ๐
We especially salute the parents who have chosen to protect not only their own children, but also the children and families around them. Thank you for taking the time to seek credible, science-based information and for choosing informed decisions over the misinformation that continues to circulate across social media platforms.
Next week, as we begin our MRSIA mop-up activities, we encourage parents of eligible Loonanon children who have not yet received their MR vaccine to take this opportunity to reflect, ask questions, and make an informed decision to protect their children against the threat of measles and rubella.
As your healthcare workers, we remain here for you. We are always willing to listen, answer your questions, and provide science- and evidence-based information about MRSIA and the importance of measles-rubella vaccination. Our goal is not only to vaccinate, but to ensure that every parent is empowered to make an informed choice for their child.
