The spirit of volunteerism continued on the second day of Brigada Eskwela as teachers, student leaders, parents, and stakeholders worked together to prepare the school for the opening of classes.

Student leaders actively participated in classroom and school ground clean-up activities, helping create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all learners. The ARAL Reading Program also continued to engage students in meaningful literacy activities, while enrollment and health assessments remained ongoing.

Through unity, service, and cooperation, the school community continues to work hand in hand in ensuring a successful start to the new school year.

𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗚𝗔𝗗𝗔 𝗘𝗦𝗞𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗞𝗜𝗖𝗞-𝗢𝗙𝗙 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠 📚🧹✨

With the opening of School Year 2026–2027 fast approaching, Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), alongside the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) and Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), actively joined the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Program on June 1, 2026.

The program commenced with a motorcade, followed by the installation of Brigada Eskwela tarpaulins and school clean-up activities, demonstrating the commitment of student leaders and volunteers in preparing the school for another year of learning.

Brigada Eskwela is more than just a school preparation activity it is a celebration of unity, volunteerism, and shared responsibility. Through the combined efforts of students, teachers, parents, alumni, and community partners, we help create a learning environment that is clean, safe, and conducive to the holistic development of every learner.

As the Brigada Eskwela week continues until June 5, 2026, we encourage everyone to participate and become part of this meaningful initiative. Every helping hand, contribution, and act of service brings us one step closer to providing a better educational environment for all.

Together, let us embrace the spirit of bayanihan and continue working hand in hand for the benefit of our school community.

Mula sa pagwawalis, pagpipintura, hanggang sa simpleng pagtulong sa bawat gawain, bawat ambag ay mahalaga sa pagbuo ng mas maayos at mas magandang kapaligiran para sa lahat.

BKD officers proudly participated in Project L.E.A.D. 2026, an online seminar focused on strengthening strategic planning, teamwork, and leadership development among young leaders. The program encouraged participants to step beyond their comfort zones and become more responsible, goal-driven, and action-oriented individuals.

Throughout the seminar, students actively engaged in discussions and activities that highlighted the importance of collaboration, communication, and decision-making. Every lesson shared became a guide for future student-leaders in building stronger organizations and healthier school communities.

Like seeds planted with purpose, the participants were filled with new knowledge and motivation that will continue to grow over time. Equipped with fresh insights and leadership skills, the attendees are now more prepared to lead with confidence, serve with integrity, and inspire others through meaningful action.

✨ 𝗕𝗞𝗗 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗 2026 ✨

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 and 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲ñ𝗼 conducted the first BKD meeting after the 3-days LEAD 2026 Conference to share the lessons and experiences learned during the event. The meeting also focused on discussing plans and possible activities for the upcoming school year.

🎤 𝗟𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿, former SSLG President, shared inspiring lessons about improving leadership, creating meaningful projects, building organization identity, and making SMART plans for activities and programs.

The meeting became a great opportunity for everyone to learn, share ideas, and strengthen teamwork as student leaders. Thank you to everyone who participated and made the meeting successful and meaningful.

This May, as we celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s continue creating a world where people feel safe to speak about their struggles without fear of judgment.

Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet many people silently carry battles that others cannot see. A little kindness, understanding, and support can go a long way. Let this month be a reminder to check in on yourself, rest when needed, and reach out to the people around you.

Healing is not linear, and it’s okay to have difficult days. You are not weak for struggling, and you do not have to go through everything alone. One small step forward is still progress.

This May, let’s spread awareness, choose compassion, and remind everyone that their feelings matter and their life is worth caring for.
