At 41, I never imagined that a routine OB check-up would lead to a hospital admission. It was the start of my third trimester. Wala naman akong nararamdaman—I felt okay. But my BP kept coming back dangerously high—180/110. My OB immediately admitted me, and that’s when I found out I had preeclampsia. I was also diagnosed with gestational diabetes (GDM) and had to take insulin shots until I gave birth. I was told that my condition could put Tim at risk of being born prematurely if things didn’t normalize. And honestly, that scared me.🥺
Fast forward three years, and here I am—still in a hospital, but for a completely different reason. This time, I’m simply accompanying my toddler, Tim, for his wellness check-up. Looking at these two photos side by side, I can’t help but feel grateful for how far I’ve come.
I didn’t want to accept that feeling unwell and having low energy would simply be my “new normal.” I wanted my health back—not just for me, but for my kids. Because having a toddler in your 40s is no joke. 😂 He needs a mom who has the energy to play, run around, and enjoy life with him. And my pr***en needs his mom, too. I wanted to be able to show up for BOTH of them. ❤️
That’s what led me to find healthier ways to take care of myself—and eventually, the Feel Great System. Almost two years in, and I have more energy, more confidence, more freedom, and simply more life. 💗
No extreme workouts. No complicated diet. No food restrictions. Just tea, fiber, intermittent fasting, and most importantly, consistency.
Now I’m grateful that I can also help others work on their own health journey.
44 and feeling better than I did at 41. 🥹💗
