Hantavirus is a disease that can be transmitted through contact with rodent urine, droppings, or saliva. Staying clean and practicing proper sanitation are important to help prevent its spread.

Strengthening awareness and preparedness through education.

Department of Health-Provincial Epidemiology Surveillance Officers successfully conducted an Orientation on Republic Act No. 11332.
Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act and Philippine Integrated Disease Surveillance and Response ( PIDSR ) Case Definition on Notifiable Diseases to enhance the knowledge and awareness of our healthcare workers and staff regarding the proper identification, prevention, management, and timely reporting of notifiable diseases.

This activity aims to reinforce the importance of accurate documentation, immediate coordination, and prompt reporting to appropriate health authorities to help prevent the spread of diseases and protect public health.

We remain committed to upholding patient safety, public health standards, and compliance with health protocols in creating a safer and healthier community for all.
