Here’s an important distinction: laser hair removal is better described as permanent hair reduction—not a guarantee of permanent removal of every hair.

Laser energy targets melanin in actively growing hairs and can produce long-term reduction in the number and thickness of hairs that regrow.

Not every follicle is in the active growth phase at the same time—and hormonal changes can influence previously inactive or finer follicles—some hair may appear again over time.

That’s why occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended.

The goal: fewer hairs, finer regrowth, and significantly less need for shaving over the long term.

There’s a lot of misinformation about laser hair removal—so we’re clearing up some of the most common myths.

At Beausthetics, we use 755 nm Alexandrite + 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelengths, allowing treatment parameters to be selected according to factors such as skin type, hair characteristics and treatment area.

Laser hair removal is a process. Because hair follicles cycle through different growth phases, multiple appropriately timed sessions are typically needed to achieve progressive, long-term hair reduction.

And while results can be long-lasting, laser does not guarantee that every treated hair will be permanently eliminated. Some regrowth can occur over time, and maintenance treatments may be appropriate for some individuals.

We would like to thank our loyal clients for the unwavering support throughout these years and for that, we believe that great patient outcomes come from a commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.

Starting on June 24, 2026, we will be dedicating a few hours of our day to ongoing professional education and training. Consultations, laboratory tests and injectable procedures will not be available from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Exceptions:
