The SOCCSKSARGEN General Hospital Family Day conducted last September 26, 2026- brought our SGH family together for an afternoon filled with laughter, love, creativity, and unforgettable memories. From the exciting Family Got Talent Contest – “Pamilya Mo, I-Bida Mo!” to the simple moments shared with one another, the celebration spearheaded by the Medical Department reminded us of what truly matters, family.

Our families are our greatest source of strength and inspiration. They are the ones who cheer us on, understand the demands of our work, and remind us why we continue to give our best every day. This celebration was a way of honoring not only our employees, but also the families who stand behind them.

More than the performances, the cheers, and the fun, SGH Family Day celebrated the bonds that make us stronger as one community.

Because at SGH, we don’t just work together—we grow, celebrate, and support one another as one family.

SOCCSKSARGEN General Hospital (SGH) successfully conducted its 5th Annual Suppliers Forum, last September 30, 2026, an initiative spearheaded by the Procurement and BAC Secretariat Office, as part of its continuing commitment to transparent, efficient, accountable, and responsible procurement.

The activity was made even more meaningful and successful through the presence and support of our Medical Center Chief, Dr. Leila F. Quidilla, and esteemed Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) members, whose participation underscored the hospital’s commitment to good governance and a transparent procurement process.

The annual forum provides an avenue for SGH and its supplier-partners to strengthen communication, clarify procurement requirements and procedures, address concerns, and foster a fair and competitive procurement environment.

A key highlight of this year’s forum was the discussion on Republic Act No. 12009, or the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA), including its key provisions, principles, and implementing guidelines. The discussion emphasized the importance of transparency, competitiveness, efficiency, accountability, participatory procurement, sustainability, and professionalism in the procurement process.

Through this forum, SGH continues to promote meaningful engagement with its suppliers and uphold the principles of good governance, integrity, fairness, and transparency, recognizing suppliers as vital partners in ensuring the timely delivery of quality goods and services.

SOCCSKSARGEN General Hospital successfully conducted a Lactation Management Training for Non-Medical Staff, strengthening the knowledge and skills of hospital personnel in creating a breastfeeding-friendly and supportive environment for mothers and their babies.

Supporting breastfeeding is a shared responsibility. Through continuous learning and capacity-building, SGH remains committed to providing quality, compassionate, and mother- and baby-friendly services.

The SOCCSKSARGEN General Hospital (SGH) successfully conducted its Mental Health Program Services Orientation at the SGH Outpatient Department (OPD) on September 24–25, 2026.

The two-day initiative provided outpatient clients, watchers, and SGH personnel with valuable information on mental hygiene, early identification of emotional distress, and accessible mental healthcare services.
