From June 16–18, 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢ñ𝐚𝐬, together with the 𝐌𝐁F𝐇𝐈 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 and 𝐃𝐎𝐇-𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚ff, empowered our team with hands-on skills in lactation management and breastfeeding support.

This training was packed with hands-on learning, and engaging discussions—a significant leap forward in strengthening our hospital's lactation care and advocacy for breastfeeding. 💖

The Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Working Committee, in collaboration with the DOH-trained staff of 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢ñ𝐚𝐬 and newly appointed hospital facilitators, successfully spearheaded a hospital-wide 3-day 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 - 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗘𝗠𝗡𝗖-𝗟𝗠𝗧) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗣𝗜𝗢: 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, held last June 2–4, 2025.

We are grateful for the overwhelmingly positive feedback received regarding the training. Participants found the sessions enjoyable, interactive, and highly informative. This initiative is part of our ongoing campaign to strengthen breastfeeding practices, with a focus on enhancing lactation support across the hospital.

As we move forward, we remain committed to our advocacy of protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding—ensuring that every baby is properly nourished from birth. We will continue to uphold Pagamutan ng Dasmariñas as a Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital and workplace.
