" I SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE PATIENT "

For most moms, we do feel this guilt after an episode of discipline to a child. But for an Auesome Mom, really hits different.

It begun when I was preparing him to take a bath , then he said No and wanting to play more, he begun those moves of tantrums, so I already raise my voice and telling him to listen to me however calm I am I went to my peak of my emotion, I got angry and he started crying out loud in response.
It was a quiet long battle of frustration on his part and patience ony my side.

When I felt I should calm him and myself too. He then ask me this, "Why? I LOVE YOU" and then he cried a cry that is hurting. I know he meant to ask " Why are you angry Mama? "
Realizations kick in and I just hugged him tight and said to him " I love you too" and gently whispered , I'm sorry not to him, but to myself and said "I should have been more patient, more understanding and compassionate "

These are just moments in our journey , our Auesome Parent Journey that teaches me alot .

*AUTISM IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK.* 💙

Let’s break the myths and choose understanding instead.

Autism is NOT:
❌ Bad behavior
❌ A tragedy
❌ Caused by bad parenting
❌ Something you “fix”
❌ Less than
❌ A lack of intelligence
❌ Silence

Autism IS different. It’s communication in its own way, love in its own way, intelligence in its own way, and connection in its own way.

When we understand, we include. When we include, we all grow. Let’s listen, learn, and support each other with empathy.

Autism parenting is about embracing the blessings, not just overcoming the challenges. Your child 🧒is a blessing, if you choose to see them that way.

In an innovative move, Finland replaced traditional rubber playground surfaces with natural forest soil, mud, and plants and the results are impressive. Within just 28 days to one month, children’s immune systems showed a significant boost, according to a recent study.

The natural playground environment exposed children to a wider variety of microbes and bacteria, encouraging their immune systems to strengthen and better adapt to environmental challenges. The concept is based on the idea that natural exposure to dirt and nature can support the development of a robust immune system, similar to how our ancestors lived in constant interaction with nature.

From a immunology perspective, this kind of microbial exposure can help balance immune responses, reducing the likelihood of allergies and autoimmune conditions. Children who spend time in natural environments are thought to experience a healthier immune system response due to this exposure.

This shift emphasizes the importance of connecting children with nature for both physical and mental well-being. Not only does it encourage outdoor play, but it also supports the idea that natural environments play a critical role in fostering stronger, more resilient immune systems.
