🩺A NURSE WHO CARES FOR EVERYONE 🤍
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM—
I show up for my community.
Not because every day is easy,
but because I truly love what I do.
Monday — CVD Day ❤️
Tuesday — Prenatal Day 🤰
Wednesday — NIP Day 💉
Thursday — 4Ps & IPs Day 🤝
Friday — Family Planning & VIA Day 🌷
And in between all these programs,
there are consultations, concerns, emergencies,
seminars, trainings, workshops, meetings,
and unexpected responsibilities that come along the way.
I care for my community.
I listen. I educate. I comfort.
I celebrate their healing and worry when they are hurting.
But sometimes… I get tired too.
Because behind the nurse's uniform is a woman who also has a family to care for,
a home to manage, dreams to pursue,
and a body and heart that sometimes need rest.
Sometimes I become unwell—not because I don't love my work,
but because I am human.
And I am slowly learning that:
Being an empowered woman doesn't mean carrying everything alone.
It means knowing when to stand, when to rest, when to ask for help,
and when to choose yourself without guilt. 🌷
I will continue serving my people with love,
but I will also learn to protect my own health and peace.
Because I am a nurse, but I am human too.
I can care for others without forgetting to care for myself. 🤍
🤲 MY DUA
Ya Allah,
Give me strength when I am tired,
patience when I am tested,
wisdom when I am overwhelmed,
and peace when my heart is heavy.
Bless my hands as I serve,
my words as I comfort,
my work as I care,
and my family as I continue to fulfill my responsibilities.
Protect me from burnout, exhaustion, and anything that weakens me.
Teach me to rest without guilt and to remember that taking care of myself is also an amanah.
When I feel that I cannot carry everything,
remind me that I don't have to—because You are always there.
Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel. 🤲
Allah is Sufficient for me, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs.
May Allah accept every small act of service,
every tired step, every kind word,
and every sincere effort I make for my community and family.
Ameen ya Rabbal 'Alamin. 🤲🤍
🌷 Serving others is my calling.
🌷 Caring for myself is my responsibility.
🌷 Trusting Allah is my strength.
Yours truly,
🩺 Nars Ashlia
