Advancing Local Microplanning for Effective Immunization Delivery ๐
The General Santos City Health Office together with the Rural Health Units (RHUs) and representatives from DepEd RXII SDO General Santos City successfully completed the 3-Day School-Based Immunization (SBI) Orientation and Microplanning Workshop for Sarangani Province and General Santos City held on August 17โ19, 2026 at Greenleaf Hotel, General Santos City.
The workshop strengthened local preparedness, coordination, and implementation strategies for the upcoming SBI 2026. As part of the activity, the General Santos City Health Office and selected RHUs presented their developed microplans, highlighting their target learners, vaccine and logistics requirements, communication strategies, and area-specific implementation approaches.
Through collaborative planning with representatives from DepEd RXII SDO General Santos City, the CHO and RHUs continue to strengthen their readiness to deliver safe, timely, equitable, and quality immunization services to eligible learners.
With the continued technical guidance and support of DOH-CHD SOCCSKSARGEN, the General Santos City Health Office and RHUs are geared toward the successful implementation of SBI 2026 in partnership with Department of Educationโworking together to reach and protect every eligible learner through life-saving vaccines. ๐๐
