Who We Are:
The JANE Foundation (JANE) was founded and established by Mr. Gapal’s youngest and only daughter, Jane. The name JANE came to life in early 2016 which stands for Jane’s brothers’ names: Jerry, Apollo, Nilo, and Eric. Jane is the Executive Director of JANE Foundation whose mission is to reach out to individuals, underserved adults, elderlies, families and children and communities. Our
innovative model focuses on people who cannot access traditional services or are disconnected from other types of consistent support. We remove common barriers to service by going to their location. Guided by Jane's belief that all lives have equal value and every person deserves the opportunity to lead a healthy and productive life—JANE has a deep commitment to supporting diversity in the Philippines. This commitment is reflected in the foundation’s core values of Collaboration, Determination, Dedication, Optimism, and most of all Love (CDDOL). Jane has dedicated JANE Foundation to her beloved brother, Nilo Gapal, who was taken from them in June 2015. He was a very remarkable man with a loving spirit who was loved by everyone. How We Work:
We accomplish our mission through a combination of outreach and donations. We go directly to those areas in the most need to distribute food, healthcare products, and clothes. At the foundation, our staff and volunteers addresses the most challenging inequities in the region, the country, and the world, contributing their best on behalf of JANE’s core values. It is work that not only relies upon a staff with solid education and related experience, but also a rare dedication to the greater good that exceeds the importance of a specific title. Get Involved:

JANE Foundation could not operate without the help of its volunteers! JANE relies on the volunteerism of the community and individuals to carry out the work needed to bring these programs to life. If you are someone who wants to use their time to make a difference in their community and fit our core values (CDDOL), we want you! We have volunteer opportunities that vary in their level of commitment—from on call opportunities to regular responsibilities that may take a few hours of your time. Consistency is central to our core values and we want people who will honor whatever commitment they choose to make.
