Adolescent Health and Development Awareness Campaign & World Mental Health Month
As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting youth well-being, we recently conducted an awareness campaign at Masarawag National High School, focusing on key issues affecting today’s adolescents. The campaign covered essential topics such as Teenage Pregnancy Prevention, Mental Health Awareness, and HIV/AIDS Education, while also highlighting the services offered through our Adolescent-Friendly Health Facility (AFHF). These sessions aimed to empower students with knowledge, encourage informed decisions, and create a safe, supportive environment for their growth and development.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Hon. Mayor Ann Gemma Ongjoco for her support of programs that prioritize adolescent health and mental wellness.
A heartfelt thank you as well to the MNHS administration and faculty, especially to Sir Principal Jess Locaba, Ma’am Mariz, and Ma’am Steph, for the warm welcome and strong collaboration. And of course, kudos to the MNHS students for their energy, engagement, and openness throughout the sessions.
Together, let’s continue nurturing a generation that is empowered, informed, and resilient. 🩷
