National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) is observed every July pursuant to ๐‘๐ž๐ฉ๐ฎ๐›๐ฅ๐ข๐œ ๐€๐œ๐ญ ๐๐จ. 10121 and ๐๐ƒ๐‘๐‘๐Œ๐‚ ๐Œ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐š๐ง๐๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐จ. 110, ๐ฌ. 2026. This annual observance promotes disaster preparedness, climate resilience, and a culture of safety among Filipino communities. The 2026 theme, "๐๐š๐ ๐ก๐š๐ก๐š๐ง๐๐š ๐š๐ญ ๐Š๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐จ๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š ๐ฌ๐š ๐๐š๐ง๐š๐ญ๐š๐  ๐ง๐š ๐๐š๐ ๐จ๐ง๐  ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฌ," highlights the importance of proactive, science-based, and community-driven actions to strengthen resilience against disasters and the impacts of climate change.

Donation Drive for Earthquake-Affected Communities
In response to the devastating earthquake that struck Sarangani Province and General Santos City on June 8, 2026, the Philippine Red Cross Sultan Kudarat Province Chapter, together with the Red Cross Youth (RCY) Councils of Sultan Kudarat, launches ๐€๐‡๐Ž๐ ๐’๐š๐ซ๐†๐ž๐ง, a donation drive dedicated to supporting affected families and communities.

The magnitude 7.8 earthquake resulted in loss of lives, injuries, damaged homes and infrastructure, disruptions in essential services, and widespread distress among residents. As our fellow Filipinos face the difficult journey toward recovery, we are called to stand together and transform compassion into meaningful action.

To ensure a faster, more efficient, and coordinated response, ๐€๐‡๐Ž๐ ๐’๐š๐ซ๐†๐ž๐ง is accepting ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ž๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ. All contributions will be properly consolidated and utilized to support humanitarian relief efforts for affected communities in Sarangani Province and General Santos City.

No amount is too small when given with a sincere heart. Whether it is โ‚ฑ20, โ‚ฑ50, โ‚ฑ100, or more, every contribution can help provide food, clean water, emergency supplies, and hope to families affected by this disaster.
