I don’t feel well despite coming from vacation. But I am glad to have spent it with my parents, not the convention we usually have. I was exhausted from trip but I immendiately received a referral for emergency cerclage, and while on vacation, had admissions and got multiple updates and referrals. Not complaining, just stating fact of what our days are like.

I could have chosen to turn my phone off, and relied on the management of my awesome relievers BUT, we hold your trust in high regard we prefer to manage you even from afar.

To have arrived reading this letter, reminded me how lucky I am in this lifetime to be doing what I love.🙂

SOMETIMES OUR CONTEMPLATED PROCEDURE DON'T ALWAYS SUCCEED : CERVICAL INSUFFICIENCY

Failed attempt of McDonald cerclage but there were multiple issues we encountered:
💔Bag of water is already protruding
💔The posterior lip of the cervix already retracted

The whole team worked for almost 4 hours but the bag inadvertantly ruptured when we are about to do our return sutures. 💔💔💔 Mommy delivered to a live 25 weeker. 😢

Sometimes, there are instances when things happen beyond our control. Please pray for our preemie baby and our parents.
