Mount Grace Hospital, Inc. proudly celebrates the successful conclusion of the 4th Nursing Congress last May 26, 2026, a meaningful gathering of nursing leaders, healthcare professionals, and advocates of excellence in patient care together with the esteemed nurse leaders of the Nursing Service Group of Mary Mediatrix Medical Center.

This congress served as a powerful platform to strengthen leadership, collaboration, and the continuous pursuit of evidence-based practice in nursing. As healthcare continues to evolve, investing in nursing leadership remains essential in building resilient teams, improving patient outcomes, and fostering innovation within our institutions.

We are also proud to share that Mr. Art Francis Ilustre (OIC-Nursing Quality Officer) was nominated for the prestigious Sister Callista Roy Award for Nursing Innovation, recognizing his commitment to transformative and innovative nursing initiatives. The Nursing Service Group under the Department of Nursing Practice and Professional Advancement (NPPA) proudly celebrates the successful roll-out of the Center of Excellence for Research in Nursing (CERN) a remarkable step towards a stronger culture of inquiry, evidence-based nursing practice, innovation, and professional growth.

We are deeply honored to have our very witty, inspiring, and esteemed guest speaker, Ms. Gracielle Ruth Adajar, Head Nurse and Head of Technical Research Board of the Lung Center of the Philippines, who shared her invaluable insights, expertise, and passion for nursing research excellence. Her presence truly made the event meaningful and memorable.

This milestone strengthens our commitment to ensuring that the care we provide is not only grounded in Alagang May Malasakit, but also reflects excellence in nursing practice, research, and professional advancement. Through CERN, we aspire to cultivate a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and scholarly engagement among nurses, empowering them to become leaders in healthcare, champions of evidence-based practice, and contributors to scientific and scholarly writing.
