The Municipal TB Caravan was successfully conducted today, bringing essential health services closer to the people of Manabo. The activity served as a significant step in promoting awareness, early detection, and prevention of tuberculosis within the community.
Free services such as Chest X-ray, sputum collection, and TB Health Information and Education Campaign (IEC) were provided to the constituents through the dedicated efforts of the Provincial Health Office in partnership with the Department of Health and PBSP. Through this collaborative initiative, many Manabonians were given the opportunity to access quality healthcare services aimed at strengthening TB prevention and control in the municipality.
In line with this, we extend our sincerest gratitude to Mayor Darrel O. Domasing for his unwavering and continuous support to all health programs and initiatives of the municipality. His commitment to public health greatly contributed to the success of this activity. We also express our appreciation to Dr. Dexter Apolonio for his guidance and leadership, and to all RHU Staff for their dedication and hardwork in ensuring the smooth implementation of the Municipal TB Caravan.
Special thanks are likewise extended to ABRECO Manabo Sub-Office and Manabo MDRRMC for their supporting efforts that ensure the smooth conduct of this activity.
The success of this activity reflects the strong partnership among local government units, healthcare workers, partner agencies, and the community in the collective fight against tuberculosis and in promoting a healthier and safer Manabo for all.
