: A Conversation That Made People See Cancer Differently 💜

Yesterday’s "CANSWER: Changing Your Understanding of Cancer — A LaboraStory Session" was an intimate, interactive, and deeply meaningful conversation,
brought to life through the collaboration of Cielo en la Tierra Wellness Center and Wellnessland Urban Center.

It wasn't simply about fighting cancer.

It invited participants to look at cancer from a different perspective—not merely as an enemy that has come to destroy the body, but perhaps as a Divine message calling us to pause, listen, and look deeper.

A message that something may need to change.
Something may need to be let go of.
Something that has been neglected may finally need to be cared for.

Sometimes, a diagnosis becomes an invitation to overhaul the way we live, think, relate, cope, and care for our whole being.

And one powerful factor brought into consciousness during the session was FEAR.

Fear can profoundly influence how we experience illness and how we move through the healing journey. Learning to recognize it, face it, and gradually let it go may become a powerful part of creating the inner conditions where healing can take place.

Perhaps this is where the mystery of healing begins:

When the body, mind, and spirit are finally given the right conditions to heal, the possibility of something miraculous may unfold. 🌿✨

Dr. Romy Paredes and Dr. Jane Jacel courageously opened these conversations, empowering participants to look beyond the diagnosis and take greater responsibility for their health and wholeness.

🍃 CALAMANSI: SMALL FRUIT. BIG HEART-HEALTH POTENTIAL. 💚

That little green fruit we often squeeze into our drinks and dishes may be doing more for our health than we realize.

🍋 CALAMANSI is naturally rich in vitamin C and plant compounds called flavonoids—powerful nutrients that help support the body’s defenses against oxidative stress.

And when it comes to our cardiovascular health, one of the most important places to look is not only the heart itself—but the blood vessels.

❤️ Healthy blood vessels need healthy endothelium—the delicate inner lining of our arteries that helps regulate blood flow and vascular function.

Research on citrus flavonoids suggests they may help support endothelial function, while also influencing pathways related to oxidative stress and inflammation. In clinical trials, citrus flavonoid interventions have been associated with improved flow-mediated dilation, an important measure of how well blood vessels respond and relax.

So perhaps we can look at calamansi in a new way:
