**Our Miracle After Eight Years of Waiting**

There are stories that begin with joy...

Ours began with eight years of waiting, hoping, and praying.

Before Gab came into our lives, my husband and I spent eight long years praying for a child.

I was diagnosed with PCOS, and there were times when we wondered if our dream of becoming parents would ever come true.

But we never stopped hoping.

We prayed together, and we entrusted our dream to God and to Mama Mary.

Then one day, our prayers were answered.

On **September 2008**, our precious son, Gab, was born.

He was our miracle.

Holding him for the first time filled our hearts with a joy that is difficult to describe.

Every long year of waiting suddenly felt worthwhile.

At that moment, we didn't know what the future would bring.

We didn't know about the challenges that were still ahead.

We only knew that we had been given the greatest gift we had ever received.

Looking back now, I still thank God every day for blessing us with Gab.

No matter what life has brought our family, one truth has never changed:

**He has always been our miracle.**

Now that you've gotten to know a little about Gab, I'd love to share one of our simple daily conversations. 💚

One of my favorite moments each day happens after I help Gab with his daily routine, prepare his meals and medicines, and we finally have time to sit down together.

That's when our conversations begin...

Gab loves talking about technology, airplanes, space, current events, and the latest innovations in the world.

Tonight, he excitedly shared something about Tesla.

He told me,

> "Ma, imagine finishing your grocery shopping and your car could come to you." 🚗😅

Then he explained how some modern cars have features that can move in certain situations with the driver's supervision.

I just smiled because, honestly, I learn something new from him almost every day.

Sometimes, I'm the one teaching him.

But many times...

I'm the student.😍

And my teacher is my son.😅

Crohn's disease may affect Gab's body, but it has never stopped his curious mind from exploring the world.

And as his mom, I couldn't be prouder. 💚

"WHY WE CHOOSE HOPE"

💚 *Welcome to Beyond Crohn's: Gab's Journey of Hope** 💚

Hello and welcome to our page. ❤️

My name is Belle, and I am the mother of an amazing young man named Gab.

I created this page not because we want sympathy, but because I believe that sharing our honest journey may bring hope, understanding, and encouragement to other families who are facing their own challenges.

Our story began with a dream and a prayer.

After eight long years of waiting, my husband and I were blessed with our miracle baby, Gab, on September 2008.

From the beginning, Gab has brought so much joy into our lives. He grew into a smart, loving, and curious child who enjoys learning about mathematics, airplanes, space, technology, world events, and discovering new things. He has always been a dreamer and a learner.

In 2018, when Gab was 10 years old, our family entered a new chapter.

What we thought was simple emergency stomach ache became an unexpected journey that ended up to surgery. After surgery and further examinations, we learned that Gab was living with Crohn’s.

That diagnosis changed many things.

There were several hospital visits, continues medications, difficult days, and moments of fear.

But it also revealed something powerful:

**Gab’s strength.**

Crohn’s is part of his journey, but it does not define who he is.

He is a son.
He is a student.
He is a dreamer.
He is a young teenage boy with hopes, talents, and a future ahead of him.

Through this page, we hope to share our family’s experiences, the challenges, the lessons, the small victories, and the hope that keeps us moving forward.

To every patient, caregiver, parent, or family walking through a difficult season:

You are not alone. ❤️
