Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in collaboration with the National Conciliation and Mediation Board (NCMB), held “Alagang Lourdes: Fostering Safe Spaces and Gender Equality in the Workplace” on September 18, 2026, at the Basilio Valdes Hall.

The seminar was led by Atty. Khristine Joy Mary C. Vergara, Conciliator-Mediator of RCMB-NCR, DOLE, with a discussion on “Safeguarding Rights: The Anti-Sexual Harassment and Safe Spaces Act in Law and Jurisprudence.” The session gave employees a deeper understanding of Republic Act No. 11313, or the Safe Spaces Act, including gender-based sexual harassment, online harassment, workplace responsibilities, the role of the Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI), and the legal protections and responsibilities under the law.

Through initiatives like this, Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital continues to foster a workplace grounded in respect, inclusion, safety, and professionalism, reflecting our commitment to the values of Alagang Lourdes.

Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital proudly celebrates the new batch of students from University of the Philippines Rural High School for successfully completing the Jumpstart: Work Immersion Program on August 27, 2026, at the UP Rural High School Campus in Los Baños, Laguna.

The program allowed students to gain healthcare workplace experience, develop practical skills, and deepen their understanding of the professional environment, helping prepare them for their future careers.

Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, in partnership with the Social Security System (SSS) Sta. Mesa, successfully hosted the MedCareSSS Caravan: “Kalinga para sa Kumakalinga” on August 20, 2026.

The initiative brought essential SSS services closer to our employees and healthcare workers, giving them convenient access to information and assistance on membership, contributions, benefits, loans, and other SSS programs.
