𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻-𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀.🌱✨

The BFA Industrial Design (BFA ID) students from the UP College of Fine Arts recently visited UP SIBOL as part of their D 141: Human Factors in Industrial Design II class.

During the visit, the students toured our laboratory, exploring ongoing work in additive manufacturing and prosthetics development. The session also allowed for meaningful exchanges on how design, engineering, and biomedical sciences intersect in creating solutions centered on the human experience.

To further enrich their learning, the group was guided through prosthetics facilities at PGH, offering a closer look at real-world applications in the field.

We thank the students for the insightful discussions and for engaging across disciplines in pursuit of more human-centered innovation.

UP SIBOL, in collaboration with UP Manila’s Technology Transfer and Business Development Office, showcased our initiatives at the recent Philippine Pharma and Healthcare Expo. The event brought together industry leaders to discuss challenges in regulatory processes, research and development, and commercialization in the pharmaceutical sector.

Our team was on-site to share UP SIBOL’s work and explore opportunities for collaboration with industry partners. 🌱✨
