📢 Strengthening Protection and Wellness Pathways for People Living with HIV

The Rizal Provincial Health Office, through its Provincial HIV, AIDS, and STI Prevention and Control Program, and in coordination with the Center for Health Development IV-A and Rizal Provincial DOH Office, successfully convened all DOH-accredited HIV Treatment Facilities in Rizal Province to align and harmonize the local HIV response.

This initiative focuses on strengthening protection systems, continuity of care, and wellness pathways for people living with HIV - ensuring accessible, coordinated, and client-centered services across facilities.
Through unified efforts, partners aim to improve treatment outcomes, support systems, and overall quality of life, advancing a more responsive and inclusive HIV care network in Rizal.

🔬 Training on Basic Microscopy of Sexually Transmitted Infections
📅 May 25-27, 2026

The DOH CHD IV-A, in collaboration with the University of the Philippines Manila - Department of Medical Microbiology UPCPH, successfully trained 20 Registered Medical Technologists on the microscopy of common sexually transmitted infections. 🧪

This initiative strengthens the region’s capacity for accurate and timely STI diagnosis, improves the specimen referral system, and supports more responsive healthcare services for local reproductive health and wellness centers.

Through strengthened laboratory services and skilled healthcare professionals, CALABARZON continues to advance better health outcomes and healthier communities for all. 💪
