Yesterday, I had the privilege of being part of a meaningful Community Milk Letting Activity in partnership with the Southern Philippines Medical Center Human Milk Bank, Human Milk Bank Spmc, made possible through the generous sponsorship of FICCO.
My heartfelt gratitude to Barangay Matina Crossing, especially Nadine Casiño, for tapping me and inviting me to be part of this beautiful initiative. Thank you for creating spaces where mothers can be supported, heard, and empowered in their breastfeeding journey.
I am also deeply grateful to Nurse Nicky Jane P. Salas and the Human Milk Bank team for the important work you do in making sure that human milk reaches infants who need it most. Your dedication reminds us that breastfeeding support is not only about one mother and one baby—it is about building a community that cares for every child.
It was such a joy to witness mothers, babies, healthcare workers, volunteers, and community partners come together with one shared purpose: to nourish life. 🫶🏽
