Representing Hills & Berries, our President Juanita Manzana shared our story of transformation — how our farm’s journey with SEDA Pilipinas and DOST-PTRI opened new doors from farming to fashion, weaving sustainability and innovation together.
Her presentation highlighted how collaboration and purpose can turn humble beginnings into meaningful contributions to the growing Philippine textile movement.
In support of this vision, we have also partnered with:
• Laguna State Polytechnic University LSPU Siniloan Campus – for the Establishment of a Silkworm Larvae Rearing Facility, advancing local sericulture research and development; and
• Bayo Foundation, who is committed to supporting us in this Sericulture Project — to support the livelihood of local farmers through sericulture and establish silkworm farms and mulberry plantations for sustainable silk production.
Together, we continue to champion a more inclusive, circular, and proudly Philippine-made silk industry.
