Tabiang on the move!

Tabiang PSU-CNHS was part of the 2nd dose vaccination program of the City of Puerto Princesa at the SM Cinema of SM City Puerto Princesa.

We would be grinding again tomorrow and on Friday to take part in achieving herd immunity for Puerto Princesa and for Palawan.

Tabiang on the mooooveeee! 💜

Would just like to share that we now have an active 37-40 volunteers for TABIANG MONITORING and SURVEILLANCE.. The volunteers are composed of clinical instructors, alumni, students and random professionals from different fields. YESSS! WE ARE NOW A COMMUNITY MOVER! 👩‍⚕️👨‍🏫👨‍🎓👩‍🎓👩‍🎤👨‍🎨

This initiative started a week ago and last May 24, we started the orientation and as of today, we are nearing our weak-sarry! 😂

Sharing with you all the data board of the City IMT as to how many calls were done today just for the monitoring and surveillance alone. We are just giddy na nandyan na ang Tabiang sa databoard.

But after all of this, covid-19 cases here in PPS is still very alarming kaya tulungan po tayo remind ang mga kamag-anakan natin how to be a responsible citizen - how to stop the spread of this deadly virus.

UPDATE for MONITORING AND SURVEILLANCE CALLERS!!!

Currently po ay nasa 34-35 na tayo. Hold na muna po ang registration. Aayusin lang po namin ang first batch at plaplantsahin ang detalye.

For those who signed up, maraming salamat po sa PUSO na meron kayo. Tomorrow, we would send you updates regarding our briefing on Friday. P**i reserve nalang po ang 1PM. Our platform would be thru ZOOM.

Call for Community Volunteers

The City Government and the DOH already tapped us for assistance as our fellow healthcare workers are now really exhausted. They are in need of the following:

1. VOLUNTEER COVID VACCINATORS. Medyo immediate po ito kasi time na ang kalaban natin. One may volunteer a day or two in a week.

2. VOLUNTEER MONITOR AND SURVEILLANCE CALLERS

We'd start briefing by Friday kaya immediate din po ito. A phone with sim and load would be lent to us by the City IMT and would require at least 4 hours of our time in a day or until you are able to finish reaching out to our share of clients. You would be working in two's or three's. This opportunity is open as well to students. Marami po ang kailangan natin NA MAKAKAPAG DEDICATE din talaga ng time.

Volunteers, TINDIG!

By 8 in the morning tomorrow, we shall start the re-packing of packed goods for the stranded students of CNHS. See you at CNHS Building.

Please keep in mind to wear advisable attire during this period (loose long sleeves, pants). Bawal na po lumabas ng mga bahay ng walang face mask as per City Ordinance. Once gathered, let us be mindful to observe social distancing. 😊

This is to update everyone that our total donations as to date (April 6, 2020) has reached Php 64,456.28.

Several disinfectants, face masks and face shields were already secured. We are finalizing provider for PPE's and for the time being, we are prioritizing the provision of food packs for our stranded CNHS students.

Tabiang Covid-19 drive is still accepting donations for our CONTINUOUS support for our medical frontliners.

Hello PSU-CNHS Students, Faculty and Alumni...

Currently, we have hundreds of PSU Students (approx 75 from CNHS) that are stranded here at Puerto Princesa City.

Sending them home is currently not an option as per the Provincial Government. The Naval Forces West is also more than willing to assist us in land transfers once inter-municipality movement is allowed.

As of the moment, we would prepare food packs for our students. Any donations, in cash or in kind would be greatly appreciated.

Your help is immensely appreciated. God bless us all.

Tabiang Covid-19 is a fundraising project of the Palawan State University - College of Nursing and Health Sciences Faculty, students and alumni.

We are aiming to provide additional PPE's, face shields, mask and essential support to our medical frontliners in the City.
