Myth or Fact: Tattoos and Medical Procedures 🩸

Blood Donation: ✅ You CAN donate — as long as your tattoo was done in a licensed, sterile shop, the Philippine Red Cross allows donation after a 1-year waiting period. This protects against infection risk from the healing process, not the ink itself.

MRI Scans: ✅ Also safe. Tattoos rarely react with MRI machines — some people report mild warmth or tingling, but serious issues are extremely uncommon. Just inform your technician about your tattoos beforehand.

Bottom line: getting inked at a professional, licensed studio (like ours) keeps you safe for both. 💉
