On 13th August 2026, the Commission on Audit – General Headquarters, AFP (COA-GHQ, AFP) conducted an Entrance Conference at the AFPCES Headquarters, Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo, Quezon City to formally open the Calendar Year 2026 financial audit of the organization. The audit team was led by Ms. Norina L. Yao, Supervising Auditor of COA-GHQ, AFP, together with Mr. Kinno Roger D. Antonio, OIC, Audit Team Leader.
COL BEN C DOMINGO III PA (MNSA), Commander and General Manager of AFPCES, opened the conference by extending his gratitude to all attendees and warmly welcoming the COA-GHQ, AFP audit team to the AFPCES unit, setting the tone for a conference grounded in openness, partnership, and shared commitment to accountability.
The COA team then proceeded with an introduction of the audit team and a presentation of the objectives, scope, and timeline of the audit engagement for the year, as well as the documentary requirements and records that would be examined in the course of the review.
In her closing remarks, Ms. Yao expressed her gratitude to all participants of the CY 2026 Entrance Conference and conveyed her appreciation for the collaborative discussion. She likewise expressed her expectation for the management's continued cooperation, particularly in the timely submission of financial records, reports, and other requirements necessary for the conduct of the audit.
AFPCES management reaffirmed its full commitment to cooperating with the audit process, reflecting the organization's steadfast dedication to transparency, accountability, and excellence in service to the men and women of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
