Trade fairs are always a good reminder of what export development really takes—beyond the product itself.

We are grateful to have been selected in Canada as one of only 7 MSMEs to participate in SIAL CANADA last week, with the generous support of the DTI Export Marketing Bureau, in partnership with the Philippine Consulate General in Toronto.

Thank you to our brother, Roner Romero and his family, for taking care of things on the ground—especially our sister-in-law for coordinating everything from booth setup and table display, to ensuring smooth operations from ingress, through the three-day exhibition, to egress. 🤩

It was also meaningful to see our niece engage naturally in conversations with industry players, drawing from her experience in the restaurant space.🙌

What stands out is this: export growth is not immediate. Especially for perishable products, it takes time—sampling, trial orders, logistics, and consistency all matter. But it always starts with conversations. 🤝

Grateful for the opportunities, the exposure, and the continued learnings as SAGANÀ enters into global markets.
