🐀💧 ALAMIN AT IWASAN ANG LEPTOSPIROSIS!

Ang leptospirosis ay isang sakit na dulot ng bacteria na Leptospira, na maaaring makuha sa pakikisalamuha sa baha o tubig na kontaminado ng ihi ng infected na hayop, lalo na ng daga.

⚠️ Mag-ingat kung nakaranas ng baha! Abangan ang mga sintomas tulad ng:
🌡️ Mataas na lagnat
👀 Paninilaw ng balat at mata
💪 Masakit na katawan at kalamnan
🤢 Pagduduwal at pagsusuka
👁️ Pamumula ng mata at pantal sa balat

🛡️ Protektahan ang sarili!
✔️ Magsuot ng bota at protective gear kapag lulusong sa baha
✔️ Iwasang lumusong kung may sugat sa katawan
✔️ Takpan ang mga sugat gamit ang waterproof dressing
✔️ Linisin at hugasan agad ang katawan pagkatapos lumusong sa baha
✔️ Uminom lamang ng malinis at ligtas na tubig
✔️ Iwasang humawak sa patay o may sakit na hayop

💊 Kung nagkaroon ng exposure sa baha at nakararanas ng sintomas, magpakonsulta agad sa doktor. Maaaring kailanganin ang antibiotic tulad ng doxycycline, ayon sa pagsusuri at reseta ng doktor.

📌 Huwag balewalain ang sintomas. Ang maagap na pagpapatingin at paggamot ay makatutulong upang maiwasan ang malubhang komplikasyon.

Mag-ingat, maging handa, at panatilihing ligtas ang buong pamilya! 💙

This May 2026, Community and Family Medicine proudly participated in two successful Tuli Missions held on May 2 and May 30, in collaboration with FEU-NRMF Community Engagement Office and FEU-NRMF Medical Alumni Society, respectively.

These initiatives highlight the power of collaboration—when healthcare professionals, organizations, and volunteers work together, we can reach more families and provide services that truly matter.
