CALORIES 101: Kaibigan o Kalaban sa Weight Loss?

Maraming natatakot sa salitang “calories.”
Akala ng iba, calories = taba.
Pero ang totoo? Calories are ENERGY.

👉 Lahat ng kinakain at iniinom natin may calories.
Ginagamit ito ng katawan para:

✅huminga

✅mag-isip

✅gumalaw

✅mag-workout

✅at kahit matulog

So bakit tumataba?⁉️
Hindi dahil sa calories mismo, kundi dahil sa sobrang calories na hindi nagagamit ng katawan.

📌 Weight loss = Calorie Deficit
Ibig sabihin, mas marami kang nagagamit na calories kaysa sa kinokonsumo mo.
Hindi gutom.
Hindi starvation.
Balance + quality ng kinakain.

⚠️ Kaya hindi rin tama ang:
❌ sobrang bawas kain
❌ crash diet
❌ puro “bawal” mindset

Mas importante ang:
✅ tamang dami
✅ tamang oras
✅ tamang nutrients

Ngayon sagutin natin ang tanong:
👉 Nakakataba nga ba ang MALAMIG NA TUBIG?

❌ HINDI.
Ang tubig—malamig man o hindi—WALANG calories.

💡 Ang totoong nakakataba:

👉sugary drinks

👉milk tea

👉softdrinks

👉fruit juice na may asukal

‼️Hindi ang malamig na tubig.

✨ Bottom line:
Hindi kalaban ang calories.
Ignorance about calories ang kalaban.

Kung gusto mong pumayat:
✔️ alamin ang kinakain
✔️ piliin ang nutrient-dense foods
✔️ uminom ng mas maraming tubig
✔️ maging consistent, hindi extreme

📣 Your body doesn’t need less food.
It needs BETTER fuel.
