COMPARISON IS A THIEF OF JOY
Ang bilis natin maapektuhan ng nakikita natin sa iba.
Someone’s success. Someone’s progress. Someone’s life that looks like everything is falling into place. And without noticing, napupunta na tayo sa “bakit sila, ako hindi pa?”
But what we often forget is this: you’re only seeing highlights, not the full story.
Comparison has a way of making you feel behind, even when you’re actually doing okay. It steals the joy of what you already have because your eyes are stuck on what others are building.
The truth is, you’re not in a race with anyone. You’re in your own timeline, with your own lessons, your own pace.
Some people move fast. Some people move slow. But that doesn’t mean you’re late.
This Sunday, try to step back a little.
Look at your own progress. Kahit maliit. Kahit simple. Kahit quiet.
Because when you stop comparing, you start noticing what’s actually growing in your life.
And that’s where peace slowly comes back.
