🌈 Invitation to a FREE Talk on Apraxia & Spell to Communicate (S2C) in line with Apraxia Awareness Month
Boundless Possibilities Foundation Inc. (BPFI), in partnership with the Filipino Alliance for Neurodiversity (FAN), warmly invites parents, families, educators, and advocates to a groundbreaking session:
📌 Topic: Mind–Body Connection in Communication: Apraxia and S2C
🗓️ Date & Time: May 14, 2026 (Thursday), 7–9 PM (Philippine time)
📍 Platform: Zoom (link will be sent to registered participants)
🎙️ Speaker: Dr. Tara Sayuri Whitty, certified S2C practitioner and sister/communication partner of award-winning nonspeaking autistic advocate, Danny Whitty.
Why this matters
• Many neurodivergent learners are nonspeaking, minimally speaking, or unreliably speaking. Their intelligence is often underestimated because traditional speech-based methods fail to capture their abilities.
• Families struggle with frustration and isolation when their children’s voices remain unheard.
• Educators face challenges in rolling out inclusive education when communication barriers prevent meaningful participation.
What you’ll gain
• A clear understanding of Apraxia as a motor planning disorder—when the brain knows, but the body struggles.
• Practical insights into Spell to Communicate (S2C), a method that uses letterboards and purposeful motor practice to unlock expression.
• Stories of breakthroughs: families discovering their children’s voices, educators finding tools for inclusion, and clinicians witnessing growth in confidence and autonomy.
