Engr. Marichelle F. Aldaya is a distinguished Civil Engineer and Senior Quantity Surveyor currently affiliated with ALEC Engineering and Contracting LLC. With nearly three decades of experience in the construction industry, two decades of which have been spent in the Middle East, she has developed extensive expertise in cost management, contract administration, and commercial management. Over the course of her career, she has successfully contributed to the delivery of seven iconic projects across the Middle East, with a combined value of $3.21 billion.
She holds a Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Contract Management from the College of Contract Management, United Kingdom, and earned her Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the Technological Institute of the Philippines.
Engr. Aldaya maintains a strong professional standing through several distinguished credentials. She is an ASEAN Engineer under the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations, a Practicing Engineer accredited by the Abu Dhabi Municipality (Department of Municipalities and Transport), and a Project Management and Construction Engineering Specialist recognized by the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE).
A licensed professional in multiple disciplines, she is a PRC Licensed Civil Engineer and a PRC Licensed Geodetic Engineer. She is also actively engaged in the professional community as a Life and Specialist Member of PICE and a Technical Member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Quantity Surveyors (PICQS). In addition, she currently serves as a Member of the PICE-UAE 2026 Board of Directors in the capacity of Treasurer, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to advancing the engineering profession within the Filipino engineering community abroad.
In recognition of her outstanding professional achievements, Engr. Aldaya was named among the Top Engineers in the Middle East in 2025 by The Filipino Times Watchlist. This distinction reflects a career defined by technical excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to advancing engineering and construction practices.
