Coming from week long hospital stays and surgery rooms, I haven't consistently trained in over a year. Clearly, years of training has allowed my body to rebound a lot better than most, but I have sooo much work ahead of me. I'm excited and beyond ready to get at it! You learn to appreciate your abilities more when they get taken away from you. I'm thankful to be able to move and improve again! Aka.. I'm officially back!πŸ¦ΈπŸΏβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺ🏿

My first time cutting a whole πŸ” into pieces, was interesting to say the least. My initial thought pulling it out the bag was, "🀒this ain't no damn chicken, what's all this extra meat!" I cautiously handled the chicken like it had Rona or something. However, the more I cut the more relaxed I became. Basically, I started recognizing the parts of the chicken I was used to seeing lol. As I finished cutting the bird, an intense feeling of country pride ran through my body 🀠. I literally went from, "why am I doing this again?" To "Oh I'm about to get another one and do it again." In a matter of minutes lol. Oh and I forgot to mention the best part about buying a whole chicken. Besides the fact I saved $45, it is the Schmaltz! Aka fried chicken skin. OMG is the best thing ever. Plus I had no idea chicken created it's own grease. I pan fried everything with no oil and I swear it's the juiciest chicken I ever had! πŸ˜‹

Fyi: I left the picture of the whole chicken out because it still gives me the hebbie gebbies 🀣. For those of you who would have been grossed out too, you're welcome lol. @ Country Side

I know the weather is warming. But don't let the pressure from social media to look snatched at the beach have you buying and trying every weight loss product out here! You may lose the weight, but without a consistent long term goal, you will do more damage than good. That weight will most likely come back and then some! You'll get depressed, lose focus, and begin to feel worst than you did before starting. If however you focus on becoming the healthiest version of yourself by:

- increasing good nutritional foods (powerful antioxidant, vitamin, and mineral packed)
- moderate daily exercise(dosen't have to be intense)
- limiting mucus/inflammation building foods (processed foods)
- laughing, hugging, and loving yourself and others

I promise you will not only lose weight, if need be, but you will also feel amazing! Plus the effects will last longer! I hope this helps someone. Tag anyone you think needs to see this!

I travel over 500 miles a week driving to and from my clients, uber/lyft, and trips to Mom' organic lol. I spend waaaay to much time in a sitting position. My hamstrings stay tight! Even though I stretch and work out regularly, they never fully "loosen." For the pass month or so I've been combining yoga movements with functional training to strengthen my muscles, and its been a blessing! It would hurt like hell to get into my V sits. I still have a lot to improve on, but I'm pleased with the progress 😜.

πŸ€“Truth: There is no ab building food. If you want abs, just like any other muscle on your body, you have to train them. Your eating habits will increase or decrease the amount of fat on your belly. Which will REVEAL your trained abdominal wall..aka 6 pack!

Now even tho my abs are still visible here, this is no where near my top conditioning. Remind you I took a 6 week break from training to get adjusted to my new vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. I'm back training 3-5 days a week now. I'll update you with my results at the end of July!

How will I know what my body is capable of, if I don't challenge it? How will I get to the next level, if I don't push beyond my limits? My thoughts going into this advance core workout. (10lb medicine ball 2x 25lb weights)
